How does solar power work and what makes it such a reliable source of renewable energy?
Once your new system is installed, the PV cells on the solar panels will begin to work their magic. They absorb the sun’s natural light and turn it into a usable form of DC energy (Direct Current). This is directed to the inverter where it is converted into AC (Alternating Current). At this stage the clean energy generated by the panels can be used around the home or sent to a battery where it is stored until you need it.
If you are generating more power than you need, you can sell your excess energy back to the grid. Simply set up an SEG (Smart Export Guarantee) rate with your supplier and you will get paid a set amount per kWh exported. We recommend signing up with Octopus energy as they pay the highest rate at 15p per kWh, are one of the most ethical suppliers and have amazing customer service.

Design Accepted
We know it's nice to keep your options open. That's why we offer three quotes to choose from; affordable, mid-range and premium. You can look over these from the comfort of your own home. Once you've settled on your perfect system, let us know. Then we can set an installation date.
System Installed
Our knowledgeable and friendly team will arrive on the agreed date to install your new solar PV system. Usually, this can be done in one or two days, meaning you'll be seeing the benefits of your investment almost instantly.
Handover
After your install we will take care of all of the paperwork to certify your new system. You'll receive a detailed handover pack with a complete run down of your system. We're always on hand to help with any questions and have a designated support team to respond quickly.

Electric vehicle chargers
The government has declared that by 2035, all new vehicles sold must be electric and emission-free. With the UK moving towards net-zero, electric vehicles are already well on the rise. EV chargers can be installed independently, drawing from the grid to charge your car at home. Alternatively, if you already have a solar system, or are having one installed with us, EV chargers can be incorporated as a system add-on. This means you can charge your electric vehicle from the solar energy generated by your home system.
